Suraj Makwana is a British theatre actor who has participated in plays such as Merchant of Venice, Hamlet, Othello and a few others at the Royal Shakespeare Theatre, London.

Although by profession is a lawyer who has worked on various Human Rights and Immigration cases.

Studying English Literature augmented his proclivity for writing and as a corollary has written two screenplays, one of which ‘Your Choice’ was selected at the Raindance Film Festival in 2018.

His artistic propensity has pervaded to other art forms including composition of three instrumental tracks using indigenous and unconventional instruments ranging from Ondes Martanot, Stylophone, Jewish Harp, Peruvian death whistle.

Suraj has assisted on a project ‘Forever Young’ which catalogs the meteoric rise of Bob Dylan & how a gentleman named Israel Goodman Young was instrumental as a kingmaker, to Dylan’s rise to ubiquitous eminence.

In the sphere of science, Suraj has contributed to empirical studies within the ambit of neuroscience at Hammersmith Hospital, for a test pertaining to inhibition and reflex exercises governed by the executive function attaining a mark of 98.6%.
